Divine Healing

What Is Divine Healing?

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. ~ Matthew 9:35

Divine healing is when a physical healing takes place that was received from God, not people (including doctors). Although doctors can give you medicine and treatment that can help you, divine healing comes directly from God and sets captives free. I'm *not* against medicine or doctors. I believe in fighting every way possible, especially if diagnosed with a serious or terminal illness. But the absolute best way to be healed is to receive the true, divine healing from our Creator. He has given us such a tremendous blessing, that when we put our trust in Him and refuse to doubt, knowing in our hearts that Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases and pain so we don't have to, healing will manifest. Stay strong, and persist! Be diligent in your faith, and don't quit. You WILL have divine healing if you are truly locked into faith and refuse to doubt, regardless of the duration of time it takes for the healing to fully manifest. Sometimes it takes longer, and your faith will be put to the test. I speak from experience. But you can do it. God is with you.

How To Quickly Receive Divine Healing From Almighty God

One day while in prayer, after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, I considered what it meant to receive healing from God. I knew it was God's will for me to be healed, but exactly how to receive that healing was still confusing to me. Then God spoke to my heart and opened my spiritual eyes to this truth about divine healing.

The Lord spoke to my heart,

"If you received a phone call from a close friend, someone you trusted and who was wealthy, and that person told you he owned a luxury vacation home and invited you and your family to stay in it, what would you say?"

I replied, "Without hesitation, I'd say YES and THANK YOU!"

The Lord then spoke to my heart again and said, "THAT is how you receive divine healing from Me."

I was shocked and cried tears of joy at how amazingly simple a truth this was, and I'd never understood it until that moment. I had imagined, in my mind's eye, taking healing from Jesus, but never considered that simple gratitude and appreciation, saying YES to the gift that God offers us, was the missing piece of the puzzle in my life. From that moment on, I held the key that I needed to receive divine healing of stage 4 cancer. I had nothing to worry about from that day forward.

Renew Your Mind & Thought Life

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~ Romans 12:2

It's been said that the greatest battle one could ever face, is the battle of the mind. This is more than a saying, but based on reality. The thoughts and imaginations of the heart contain more power than most people would dare to believe. It is absolutely essential that you renew your mind, your whole way of thinking. I won't tell you it's easy, because often times it's not. But you must be persistent and consistent. The more serious you are about the things you listen to, watch, and talk about, the faster you will be able to renew your mind. You can't let yourself dwell on negative thoughts and doubt. If a negative thought enters your mind, you cast it down, and refuse to consider it.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

~ 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Confess & Possess!

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

~ Romans 10:8-10

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. ~ Mark 11:23

1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

~ James 3

A key to receiving divine healing is to believe in your heart (be FULLY convinced) that you are healed in the name of Jesus Christ, AND say it!  Speak over yourself, declare and decree that your body is healed and whole, according to the word of God. It's the absolute truth that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, bore our sicknesses and diseases so that we don't have to. Do NOT let what He did be in vain for your life, regarding healing or Salvation.

1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

~ Isaiah 53

Additional Scriptures

1 And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

And he arose, and departed to his house.

But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

~ Matthew 9:1-8
